ABOUT ME

My name is Brent, and I am from the cold land of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. I have a lot of different interests and I like to learn as much as possible about as many things as possible. I left my job doing investments as a stock broker for a bank in the United States so that I can travel the world. On the side, I produce, mix, record, and master music for a little bit extra cash. I also play a bit of bass guitar, guitar, and a little bit of drums. I also enjoy reading and going out and drinking beer.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to waste time doing things you don't want to do. Live in the moment, and always follow your heart and your dreams! Don't be afraid to live your dreams!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I never hosted because I guess nobody wants to come to Minneapolis, Minnesota! Everyone wants to visit New York instead! I am going to be traveling a lot through South America and Europe over the next year, so I hope to meet a lot of people and make a lot of new friends! I enjoy immersing myself in other peoples cultures!

Interests

My main interests are music, economics, beer, and traveling.

I enjoy all different types of music, but I primarily listen to rock and blues, but also some bluegrass and hip hop. I love hearing new music, so it would be great if you would show me your favorite local music where you live.

I am also very interested in other country's economies and stock markets.

I love beer. I brew my own beer at home in the United States, and I like to taste different beers from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 3 months traveling through all of western Europe, and 3 months traveling through South America. The two best experiences of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

My goal is to become fluent in Portuguese and Spanish in the next year. If you can help me with this, that would be great. I can teach conversational English, economics and anything involving the stock market, and maybe some music skills if you are persistent.
