Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On the last leg of the majestic rail trip to Bergen, Norway I met a man of the same name as myself. He told me about couch surfing. That night all the hotels in Bergen were sold out and a lovely lady offered her hospitality to my friends and I on a whim. I signed up three days later, surfed my first official couch in Amsterdam, then in Vienna before returning to New York. In the past I have unknowingly surfed in LA, Las Vegas, Chicago, Florida and all around New York State.

Recently I have hosted a few surfers in New York and done some more unofficial surfing in New Zealand and Australia.
