ABOUT ME

I am poet/writer, artist, and recovering academic. I´ve been a tattoo artist, a low level electrician, and an assistant curator.

I'm always down for some booze and an adventure. My greatest passion in this world is poetry. Everyday I live, I read, and I write.

I move around a lot, never really stayed too long in one place. Generally, whenever I got comfortable, I went on down the line. Comfort was a huge fear of mine at one point, not too sure about that anymore. I suppose I am just a ramblin' man. Always have, always will.

I married in 2012 to a little lady from Spain I met while backpacking through Europe. Her name is Alice, if you meet me chances are you're meeting her too.

Intereses

I like meeting people. Not just shaking their hand and forgetting their name (though I am terrible with names). I enjoy getting to know people, find that interesting thing about them that makes them an individual in a sea of consciousness. Each and every one of the 7+billion people in this world are just as interesting and dynamic as I am. I like forgetting myself for a while and entering someone else's reality.

I am also a huge appreciator of art of almost all mediums, classic and contemporary.

I wouldn't be able to survive without music. I grew up in the Long Island hardcore scene but have since I tastes are more broad. Generally I'm listening to instrumental stuff (great to create to) like post-rock and stoner/sludge metal, but it isn't uncommon to catch me listening to indie, alt.country, folk, or just some good ol' rock n'roll.

Algo increíble que he hecho

In 2010 I met a girl in a market in Nice, France. She was pretty and I let her before me to pay. We got to talking and decided to travel together, couch surfing our way across the South of France and Spain. We jumped train and hitchhiked. We ate out of dumpster, picked pears from orchards, and were taken in by a beautiful family in Montpellier. Two weeks later I asked her to be my wife. We got married in May of 2012. I'll tell you the whole story one day if you want.
