About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm incredibly absent minded and a lot of the time I'm interested in ideas way more than people. I am so bad at remembering names and faces that I once introduced myself to my cousin at a bar. Despite this inability to not offend people by remembering basic information, I can remember the names of characters in books I read 10 years ago and if you ask me about a cartoon I watched as a child I typically can still recount the entire plot and details such as which president's head younger Pete (from The Adventures of Pete & Pete) got stuck up his nose (it was Eisenhower). On that note, if I ever have children, the only programing they will be allowed to watch as children will be Peewee's Playhouse and The Adventures of Pete & Pete.

PHILOSOPHY

Think about what you're doing and try not to be a dick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the website, but not to couches. I was not born with a couch to sleep on, though. It was lots of travel and thrift that led me to become well acquainted with couches. I spent a trip through the former Yugoslavia sleeping in ditches, on beaches, and finally on a couch offered to me by a guy named Duch who I met in Montenegro at some ruins. It was a gray couch with a foldout bed, but I preferred not to fold it out. Since this incident there have been many more couches and eventually a couch of my own.

Interests

I love brewing/fermentation, travel, science, playing sports (watching sometimes), books, music, but most of all I like building and fixing things. I used to restore vintage bicycles, I've flipped a house, and now I'm starting to get interested in working on motorcycles.
