I've spent the past two years traveling the world, chasing my dream of eating a meal in all 197 countries. I create videos about food and travel for YouTube, and share all of my adventures on Instagram. I was most recently in Belize, where I spent the first part of the pandemic. I am now back in the USA, in my home state of Minnesota, and look forward to safely exploring our beautiful country, while I wait for international borders to reopen, and life to return to somewhat normal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, the best part of traveling are the people you meet. As a budget backpacker, couch surfing allows me to meet unique personalities, from all walks of life. When I travel abroad, I usually only stay in hostels, to ensure I'll meet as many unique people as possible. My life is enriched by learning about other cultures, and it hurts my heart that we all can't freely travel the world at the moment.

I'm a lover of any medium that inspires and evokes an emotional response within. Currently reading a book on Woodrow Wilson, and before that, a novel by John Waters. I miss going to concerts so much, and am constantly trying to discover new bands.
