ABOUT ME

**I am moving so my couch is not available**

Hi I'm Bre! I'm a Chicago Native who has lived in Sydney, Australia >Denver, Colorado > Stockholm, Sweden and now back to Denver. I love meeting new people, going to concerts, dancing like no one is watching, drinking coffee, doing yoga, and expanding my wine pallet.

PHILOSOPHY

The more open-minded you are to others, the more you will learn and grow.
When I travel I prefer to live like the locals so that I can truly experience the culture. My favorite memories of traveling are usually from the things people have shared with me (such as: how to cook without electricity in the middle of a tropical town, learning salsa and samba from a retired Colombian dance instructor, sleeping on the steps of the Sydney Opera House, and being invited to eat with a new friend's family).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host. I try to make everyone's trip relaxing. I had the best surfers for my first time and it really helped encourage me to keep hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend is a host who introduced me to a couch surfer. I thought the concept was awesome and couldn't wait to join. Her visiting couch surfer was awesome and had so much to tell me about her surfing experience. Now its time to get some of my own experiences!

I am a fan of Indie and Rock music. I love comedies, action, and foreign films. I cannot watch scary/horror movies without jumping out of my seat and screaming. I enjoy books that have life lessons or a life message.

Fav Bands: The Killers, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, The XX, Muse, Gaga, The Fray, AWOLNATION, MGMT, Marc Brossard, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Mumford & Suns, and many more.

Fav Movies: The Intouchables, Crash, The Sandlot, 13 Going on 30, Drop Dead Fred, The Notebook and many more. I prefer to watch Documentaries or Foreign Films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught someone how to cook a frozen pizza in an oven. He was in his late 20's and never saw an oven or any frozen food. He was amazed.
