About Me
Hi! I'm Bret Hudson, the kid who wanted to do everything. So he did.
I'm a software/web developer with an interest in interactive experiences. I make computer programs, apps, websites, and games. It sounds time consuming, which it is, but I still somehow find time for my long list of activities I partake in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the elements from my youth that I look back on fondly was how people naturally entered your life through friends of friends. Being friends with A would lead you to meeting B, who would then in turn introduce you to C and D, and sooner than later you'd be biking around town with E. So far, my adult life has had limited chances for these experiences, and I miss being introduced to different ways of life, ideologies, and personalities. Hopefully, with Couchsurfing, I'll be able to start connecting with people like I used to.
Interests
I make games and software! You can check out my stuff at http://www.brethudson.com
I have a thousand other interests that are all constantly battling for my time, including writing, guitar, acrobatics, and learning (languages, maths, and more).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After living in Minnesota most of my life, I packed up my belongings and headed across the country, and spent seven weeks on the road, visiting game developers and friends I had met on the internet. It was the most alive I've felt in years.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One of my favorite things is the indie game scene, which is a subset of the video game development industry that is comprised of independent developers: those that aren't backed by a huge company. As such, they create unique experiences that bend what games are. I can introduce hosts to a whole new world and experiences through interactive software they wouldn't have ever imagined.
