In July 2012 I took a chance and decided I would up-sticks and leave the UK on my own, in search of a new career and a new adventure.

So far this journey took me to Australia, America and South East Asia. Each destination has been rich in culture, people and experience.

Which leads me to now. I'm currently in New Zealand, I came here as I no idea to do next, but with the strong sense that I didn't want to return home.
I work as an Instructional Designer by the day, which is basically a graphic designer for learning materials.

I love to socialise, meet new people and laugh. I've been fortunate to have met some amazing life long friends over the years from all around the globe and I am hoping that by couch surfing there will be opportunities to continue doing so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used couch surfing once, the host in LA was so friendly and generous. It has changed my opinion about people in general.

I'm all about meeting new people and experiencing something different. It's not about hotels...the only thing you get there is a free soap. I want people, stories and memories. I'm up for a beer but at the moment I am travelling so I unfortunately can't host.

Interests

Seeing new places, trekking, fitness, meeting new people and having the odd drink!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and have my earphones in 89% of the time when I'm walking around. I love a gig or festival, so no doubt I'll be trying to hook up with tickets while I'm in different places.
