ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm Bret. I'm a 32-year-old guy who records sound for a living, plays music, takes pictures, rides motorcycles (and teaches people to ride motorcycle), and travels around the country for work and for fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds, learning about other cultures, and making new friends. I have never traveled outside of North America; by hosting travelers from around the world, I hope to learn more about the countries I may someday visit, and maybe even have friends I can stay with when I finally decide to travel.

Interests

When I'm not working, I play music (guitar, drums, and viola), ride a motorcycle, teach people to ride motorcycles, run around the city with a camera, hike around the woods with binoculars, and build things. I'm a yoga newbie, frequent meditator, and master amateur chef (at least when it comes to stir-fries, soup, and breakfast scrambles).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started working with one of my musical heroes this year, somebody I've loved and listened to since I was a kid. I feel so lucky every day I get to work with him.
