About Me

I am a rising junior at the UNC Chapel Hill, studying business administration and information systems. Before now, I spent the rest of my life in Wilmington, NC with my parents and two younger brothers. I have traveled many places with my family and friends, but now I have gotten to the age where I can responsibility travel alone and that is something I am very much looking forward to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be spending my summer 2015 in Europe and want to truly experience the cultures of the places I will be traveling through. I think Couchsurfing, other than hostels, offers the "real" experience and unique perspective that I am seeking. Additionally, I hope to share my stories and culture with the hosts who will be sharing theirs with me. Most of all, I wish to make long lasting friendships with people from all over the world.

Interests

My interests are scattered all over the place. I enjoy learning new things, whether it be related to science, music, art, or just about anything. I like having a good time and meeting new people. This being said, I would hope to visit things such as restaurants, beer gardens, concerts, and clubs with my host. I am just as interested, also, in sight-seeing and going to museums.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music. One of my favorite artists is Hozier. But I also really enjoy upbeat music that you can dance to. I really like horror movies like Paranormal Activity or The Babadook. Other movies such as action or comedy can be alright, but I feel like too many of them have simplistic plots or hackneyed jokes. As for books, I typically read non-fiction but one of my favorite authors is Kurt Vonnegut.
