Overview
About Me
I love to explore new places, learn new things, and hear other people's stories. Most of my travels involve hiking or biking and taking as many photos as I can. I spend a lot of my free time bouldering at my local climbing gym, biking or rollerblading around the city, and playing games with my friends and family at our lake cabin. I also play as much tennis as my aging body will allow me (cue the single tear) and coach on the side. I like to think I have a welcoming and laid back personality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think making new friends is the greatest thing about traveling. So many times I've been in an incredible place with gorgeous views, great food, etc., and the thing I look back on the most fondly is that great dinner conversation I had at my hostel, or the folks I got to know on that free walking tour, or the people I ran into on that hiking trail. I hope Couchsurfing will give me a chance to meet more great people while traveling and also give me a chance to help out other travelers coming through my city.
Interests
I like hiking and camping, and I am always ready for some friendly competition, whether that be tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, or board games with friends. When I travel, my favorite thing to do is wonder off with my camera and a backpack full of snacks.
