Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My daughter and I couch surfed for the first time in Switzerland at the end of the summer in 2016. It was a great experience and I'm grateful to our hosts. So I want to try to payback the community by acting as a host and opening my home to other surfers visiting my hometown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After college, I hiked the Bright Angle Trail in the Grand Canyon with my sister down to the river and back 16 miles in one day with one quart of water each in the middle of summer BEFORE they added all the water and bathroom stops along the trail. Pretty foolish actually. But we survived.

In August 2016 I hiked with my daughter to the Schönbielhut at 2700 meters behind the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps. Incredible views on that day.
