Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m a full time student looking for opportunities to get out of Texas on a very low budget. There’s so much more than just the little area I grew up in with so many more new people to meet. I’m hungry for new experience!

Interests

I love Jesus, snowboarding, guitar, fishing, long boarding, wisdom and conversation with well lived people. Stories about ones life are always great to hear.

Music, Movies, and Books

Huge fan of all kinds of music except heavy metal and modern rap. I can listen to it but usually prefer modern (punkish) rock or alternative. Not picky when it comes to movies, I think I like every movie I end up watching. Also don’t read much books other than the Bible and the mandatory ones for my education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended a 6 month missionary school in Oakhurst, California (15 Miles from the South Gate of Yosemite). The last three months I lived in the East Caribbean on the island of Dominica as a full time missionary. By far the best thing I’ve done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m hoping to learn that people can be trusted. I grew up in a very conservative home where I was taught that no one except family can be trusted. In my heart I hesitate to believe that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m not looking for a party. I’ll keep the place clean and respect any ground rules that are placed. If I fail to comply to the standards, I leave and give thanks. It’s your home and your safe place, I intend on keeping it that way.
