ABOUT ME

I'm a student in Portland, OR who is obsessed with listening to music, playing music, and seeing live music. I play guitar, drums, and piano, but my primary instrument of study is BASS (electric/upright). I am getting my Bachelor's in Jazz Performance at Portland State University.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend who has a CS account hooked us up with a couchsurfer in Denver, CO... We were visiting there to see Sound Tribe Sector 9 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre two nights in a row. As we arrived at his house at 3am (he didn't even care that we were late!), he told us that he was going out of town for the weekend, and made us a duplicate of his key. He gave us his trust as we stayed at his very nice house for three nights, by ourselves. Before we left, we bought him food and cleaned his house. This act of trust astonished me and I feel the duty to pay it forward.
