About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and meet people!

ABOUT ME

I travelled a lot as a child and made it a priority as an adult to see and experience the world. I'm pretty open to trying anything (within reason) and want to live life to the fullest! The core of a man's spirit comes from new experiences. I continually push my limits to do new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just want to meet people from across the world and share my experiences and learn from theirs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed a couple of times, but from the people I've met locally and through friends, I fully enjoy what CS has to offer in the experiences and ability to share with others.

Interests

I love being outside, in any weather, and keeping busy as much as possible. I want to try (almost) everything at least once.

On the other hand, it's important to slow down, relax, and have a beer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything but horror/thriller. I know that excludes a lot, but I'd much rather be happy watching something than terrified.

Books: I love reading the classics and learning new things. I often find myself reading from the self-help section, more for a new perspective on things.

Music: Indie, Rock, Pop, Electronic, Dubstep... I'll try anything once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Where do I start?!

Contiki (2010) - my favourite trek thus far, camping around Europe for 28 days. I started out on my own knowing nobody, but met friends quickly, fully enjoyed every day, and learned so much about history and about people.

Ireland (2012): I hiked out to Dunquin on Dingle Peninsula and in complete solitude, watched the sunset over the Atlantic. 270 degress of water and fierce wind blowing back in my face!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I know a lot?

Learn: It's very humbling to hear stories from people who have done things I never thought possible.

Share: I want to pass it on! I want to do the things that people only think to do.
