ABOUT ME

I am twenty seven years old. Been an Elementary teacher the past four years. I have two daughters and have been traveling my entire life. I always stay busy whether its playing frisbee on the beach here in Grand Haven or doing some remodeling of my home. Always like to be outside, love traveling by car, train, bus, anyway I can get it.

I have a lot of offer travelers and know a lot about the extended area of Michigan. Hosting would be a treat and a honor to be welcomed into the homes of others

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted to various travelers coming to see Grand Haven. Got lotsa space, lotsa stories and have lotsa fun!

Interests

family, new cultural experiences and food, sports/activities, outdoors and manual labor. Swimming, frisbee, playing basketball, shoveling snow, raking leaves and mowing the lawn.

Music, Movies, and Books

ANY kind of live music. Good company and a nice setting can make any music appealing. Movies are fun, not much for sitting in one place for that much time but if its a good one then count me in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many....drove across the country one summer. Thirty states in thirty days, went through two cars (first one blew up in the middle of Texas), along the trip stopped in Mexico and Canada, and all the tourist stops from New Orleans, Vegas, Sailing in Seattle, Yellowstone bla bla bla ;) Past few months I have been to New York City, Washington DC, St. Louis, Chicago and just finished up a trip to Anaheim and San Diego. Always on the go!

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to teach (that is my profession) after all. Willing to learn, listen and participate in any and all life experiences and people. Mean people are no fun. Totally about respect and showing care for one another.
