About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, eat great food and meet great people.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year old living in Portland, Oregon.

I have a degree in Mechanical engineering so I'm a bit of a math/science geek. I'm also fairly outdoorsy and like to go rock climbing and hiking around Oregon and Washington.

PHILOSOPHY

The dude abides.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started with CS and I'm hoping to learn the ropes. I don't currently have a couch I can freely give out but I would love to give back to CS when i can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not enough, friends of mine have been using it for years but I'm just now getting started. Probably goes without saying I've spent many a night on a friends couch but not ones I found on CS.

Interests

I'm a pretty avid photographer and worked for the school newspaper for years. I'm interning at a couple photography studios in Portland right now.

I like non-fiction books, Sci-Fi movies and Thai food.
I also love rock climbing and taking camping trips out into the woods to go climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a increasingly severe addiction to the documentaries section of Netflix. Anyone who thinks one person could never watch the whole catalog has never met me.

I have an ever growing stack of books sitting on my night stand that i want to read. I stack the one I want to read first on top and right now I believe my stack looks like: Boomerang/The Defining Decade/Cloud Atlas/Photographs not Taken/Photography in Print/A People's History of the United States.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen bikers cross the finish line of the Tour de France, I've spent a St. Patricks day in Dublin, Ireland and I've been lucky enough to travel to over 25 countries in my 22 years.

Here is my total list of places I've been.
