Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite films are probably One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus, Taxi Driver, The Godfather, Groundhog Day, The Producers ('68), and Chinatown.

I really enjoy listening to a variety of music including The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Spoon, The Raconteurs, Philip Glass, Eric Whitacre, Mozart, Beethoven, and many others.

My favorite books/plays I have read are Ragtime, The Grapes of Wrath, King Lear, Life of Pi, The Great Gatsby, and short stories by Julio Cortazar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a production of Mozart's Don Giovanni in Prague at the original Opera House where it was first performed and I have toured the Barrandov Studios where one of my favorite films called Amadeus was made.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about:

Languages - I am currently studying Czech at school in Prague.
Food- I would love to learn what types of foods are favorites in each city that I visit.
Art - What films, paintings, music, etc. do people enjoy in other parts of the world?

Teach:
Piano - I have played pianos/written songs for a number of years.
Voice - I have also taken voice and enjoy playing music with others.
Film - I am definitely not an expert but I would love to discuss my favorite movies and ask about yours.
