About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy seeing the world throughout my lifetime

ABOUT ME

Hello! I am an outgoing person, looking to see the world and make new friends with people all over it. Currently a University student studying Psychology, I aim to eventually get involved with applied research and treatment of patients with mental disorders.

PHILOSOPHY

I've always been more curious than cautious. I like to know how things work, and why they work that way.

Interests

I enjoy reading books as a constant pastime, and always have at least two books on the go at a time. I am also quite musically inclined; I have played the drums for over a decade, I love singing and I also dabble in keyboard and bass guitar. My taste in music is extremely broad, and I am always eager to discover new tunes. I also love travelling (obviously!) It is my goal to spend significant amounts of time in each continent.

I also have a huge fascination with the Natural Sciences, and the general acquisition of knowledge. Knowledge is power!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything EXCEPT the 'top 40' pop songs, most screamo metal, and country. I'm down with everything else.

Movies: I'm a big fan of comedies, but I also love it when a Movie makes me ask questions and challenge my mind. I have relatively high standards for how good movies should be, but I only have those because I feel the quality of movie writing is sometimes way lazier than it needs to be.

Books: I always have a book on the go. It would be impossible to list them all. Currently I am reading Dr. Michio Kaku's "Physics of the Impossible". Its very good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something I've done: Performing solo in the Centennial Concert Hall in front of an audience of thousands. Terrifying and thrilling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Critical thinking is necessary for humanity to continue existing. We are seeing a huge decline of analytical proficiency and it is making us less intelligent as a general public. Always ask: 'Why?' because then not only will you learn something, but you will expose liars. its a win/win.
