ABOUT ME
Soon to be 21 year old undergrad student at the University of Florida. I'm currently studying abroad on the French Riviera in a small town called Menton. I'm really interested in the Middle East (currently studying MSA Arabic and Lebanese dialect) and hopefully will work one day in the region. I'm rounding up my year abroad with some travel to Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Paris and Barcelona before I head back home to the States. I'm very open-minded, nice and fun to be around :)
PHILOSOPHY
Learning about other peoples... culture, language, and background is something that definitely makes life interesting. I strive to follow a path of love, knowledge, appreciation, and selflessness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just hosted my first couchsurfers at my apartment in France. It was a great experience :) they hung out with me and my friends and they came out with us to a bar in Nice. I also just came back from my first time surfing in Berlin and Budapest. I had an amazing host in Budapest and I came back with memories and stories I will never forget.
Interests
I love everything Arabic and Middle Eastern (cooking, music, language, politics, culture). I also enjoy learning new languages in general and using them in the places I visit. Coming from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, I have a deep affection for the beach and the ocean. I love to swim, snorkel, kayak and hike. After a year abroad, I'm excited to go home to the states with a newfound love for adventure. I can't wait to explore new places and try new things in my awesome home state of Florida.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite band is Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Maybe you've heard "Home" by them? I love folky, americana alterative stuff.
Fav movie: Kill Bill
Books: Ishmael
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The summer before staring university, I attended a week-long leadership academy and got a behind the scenes look at the FBI Academy and Laboratory facilities in Quantico, Virginia.
