About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live, learn and love wherever the wind make take me
ABOUT ME
I love traveling and meeting new people so much; each new friend is an opportunity to know and love myself and the whole world more deeply.
I'm not the greatest at making plans- my experience has led me to follow my feet instead of my head I am always more relaxed this way.
I love animals, grew up on a farm, love riding horses, working hard, preparing food (from the ground to the table- I have so much to learn) eating food, sharing stories and laughing, I can't live without laughter.
PHILOSOPHY
Dancing is the perfect cure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In June of last year I was living with my lovely friend Meg Saxby (she's on my friends list) and we had a wee extra room in our apartment in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Meg had heard about CS through a friend of hers and we decided it was the perfect time to try it out, we thought the concept was awesome and as it turns out so were our Couchsurfers. We had such a good time with every single person who came to stay with us; everyone is so aware and respectful of what an awesome thing it is to open up your home to facilitate and participate in someone's experience of the place you live. through CS the amazing thing is you know that you'll be able to experience both the traveling and the hosting- it's like karma or somethin...
Interests
I love dancing- movement of any kind really, fresh air and open spaces are essential, I may have been a dolphin or a fish at some point in world history- I love the water so very much. I love engaging in discussion (even when I don't know what I'm talking about...) I can be a very good listener. I'm not really talented musically so much as I love listening and moving.
