What's up everyone! My name is Brian and I am from the San Francisco Bay Area. I am extremely energetic (hence all of the exclamation points), outgoing, with a passion for people. I love getting outdoors, trying new things, meeting new people, and getting out of the comfort zones! So if any of these things ring a bell, let's meet up!

Also, I am teaching English in Prague and have an accredited TEFL and Young Learners certification so if anyone is looking for some English lessons, PM me and we plan some lessons.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I truly want to see and learn the local ways from as many different cultures as mine. I came to this realization during a 5 month stay in the south of Brazil where I lived with a family where they TOTALLY took me under their wing and showed me not only their city, but culture as well. From driving the sisters to school, to taking care of the family dog for the weekend, to even attending extended family dinners; they truly made me feel as if I was one of them and allowed me to feel as if I were a local.

With that being said, I hope to use Couchsurfing as a way to meet as many different people throughout my life. I want to see how many different cultures I can immerse myself in and how many random adventures I can embark on!

I love anything that will make me move. Literally anything. From Forró to electronic dance music to classic rock. Anything that makes me move makes me happy.

My favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber if we are trying to get a laugh or V for Vendetta if we are trying to still understand a movie.

I love Game of Thrones, even though I hate them at the same time because the author just plays with your heart. Also, I love self-help books with my favorite authors being Rhonda Byrne and Miguel Ruiz.

I am going to be teaching English as a foreign language in the Czech Republic in the near future! I have never taught before, but I really want to see what it is like to help others progress not only in the classroom, but in life as well.

We are always learning. Everyday we learn something new about ourselves and the world around us. Learning has to be one of my favorite things because there are so many ways in which one can learn!

From taking dance lessons (let it be known, I am a horrible dancer), to teaching my host sister how to drive a manual car; I can share just about any experience anyone is willing to throw me into.
