Whats up!!??? Bates, here (that's what everyone calls me) I am a fun outgoing 27 yr looking for new adventures around the world every day. I love to go chill on the beach hang out with friends, head to the bar, water activities (sailing, boating, dinghy rides, snorkeling, spearfishing,, scuba diving, islands hopping around us, get into shenanigans, and make new friends. I am a hardworking guy who loves to get the most out of life every day and make it better than yesterday. Always up for new adventures or trying new things whatever they may be. Really enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life and getting to know them and see what they are about. Outgoing chill, and fun are great ways to describe me and my lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had the great pleasure of being a host when living on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas last year and hosted over a dozen phenomenal people. Im on here to meet new and amazing people, experience and educate myself on cultures from around the world. See
New and amazing things, views and travel the world.

Interests

Sports!! Im a HUGE soccer fan and follow many of the european leagues very closely. BEARS, CUBS, BULLS, BLACKHAWKS all season. big fan of almost all sports and am down to watch whatever I can. Just recently got a GoPro and am taking lots of videos and hoping to make some cool movies for my friends to watch. hanging chill in, grilling and having a good time

Music, Movies, and Books

I like thrillers and movies that keep me interested throughout the duration of the movie. Lots to name but no point. Comedic movies are always appreciated as a good laugh goes a long way, and who doesn't love quoting movies all day long.

Music
In the past 3 years I have gotten very interested in the EDM scene and have been to many of the world's best dj's concerts and music festivals. Love getting together a large crew of my friends and heading to a show or festival and dancing/raging for a couple hours having a great ass time. I am also into hip/hop love some wiz, kid cudi, wale and old school kanye. def down to always learn/listen to new music whenever i can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a Flight from Melbourne, Australia to LAX and saw the sunrise on both sides of the pacific that morning. CRAZY COOL!!!

Most recently motorbikes from Saigon to Hanoi. Was An absolutely amazing experience.
