About Me

A friend of mine referred to me as "a grown up punk/hardcore kid" and i think it's an apt description.

Spent 10 weeks the summer of 14 riding my bike across the country. It was pretty fucking incredible, to be honest.

Working on figuring out the best way to try to make this world better for the people and things I love.

I take not taking myself too seriously pretty seriously.

I really like insects. Like, a lot a lot.

I used to work with bees, and there are days when I miss it a lot.

My dad died of cancer at 45. The main thing that I've come away from that with is that we have to make our lives, our days, our moments count for as much as possible, and we have to let our loved ones know how we feel about them. Life is fucking short, and youth is fucking fleeting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm headed to Iceland & Scandinavia the summer of 2016 for an extended bike tour. I rode across the US the summer of 2014 and met tons of rad people, both through warmshowers.org and through sheer luck, but I figured I'd sign up for couchsurfing to try to meet more rad folks.
