My name is Brian, I'm 1.87 tall (important couch info), blond as you can see and looking to gather some experience on this website before I start a journey of and on my own as I will be traveling by myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to speak to people about how they've experienced couchsurfing.
As I have these plans for myself to travel I would like to know more about people who use this website, without having a set traveling plan as it is my desire to travel without a set plan and how long up front it would be suggested to 'book' a host.

So if you do read my profile and would like to provide me with some tips or experiences that would be highly appreciated.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music...well it wouldn't be just one genre as there is something to like about all genres but my favorite singer is Boudewijn de Groot and I prefer calm music but I do listen to all sorts.

Movies; same with music, I like all genres but my favorites would be Sci-Fi and Fantasy.

I don't read books much, nor do I watch much T.V. but some of the best of the ones I have read were The Elixir and the Harry Potter series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked to a town about 30km away with a backpack full of goods to donate to goodwill.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you A LOT about games, gaming and consoles (I worked on several developer/publisher projects).
I could also teach you a lot about the English language in regards to grammar.
I have a diploma in First Aid (EHBO) for animals of all sorts which might be interesting to some.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well once I actually get to travelling I could share experiences, my knowledge and I did cook for 2 years in school and worked the odd job in restaurants (I'm not saying I cook well, but I know how to).
I just hope to provide some fun and interesting conversations and meetings.
