Hello there! I am from sunny Singapore! I am a professional photographer who specialises in food and beverage.

Food is a very big part of my life and my travels; it is always a priority to find good food no matter where I go, and I am willing to travel far and wide anywhere to find delicious eats! Whether it's for local food or just good eats around my home country, don't hesitate to hit me up for recommendations!

I cannot host, but I would be more than happy to bring tourists and travellers around my country to experience some good food, explore, take photos (if you'd like!) and/or chill around and exchange stories or share about our cultures, travels, lifestyles, etc. Otherwise, don't hesitate to holler if you simply need recommendations!

I would say I am not the most extroverted person, but if a conversation is within my interests, I would definitely be invested in it. I am a friendly, outgoing, easygoing and pretty chill human being, but enough about me - I'd like to get to know more about you! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I genuinely would like to make friends and meet new people wherever I go! It's always really nice to know people with common interests and of different backgrounds!

Interests

FOOD. I have to admit that I am picky in terms of what I eat - I don't like cilantro, stemmed veggies and specific types of seafood (especially shellfish) - but I'd travel far and wide just for good food. I also enjoy photographing and reviewing the food I eat. I also enjoy meeting new people who share the same interests as me!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: always checking out the Discover Weekly page of Spotify every other week, but otherwise I've been really into indie-electronic-rețro-dream-pop (just casually combining several genres together hah) but frankly I love music and listen to most genres except really heavy ones like metal, as well as hip-hop and instrumental (unless there's a need to).

Favourite artists ATM: Nightly, Ellie Goulding, Lauv, Retro Culture

Movies: Looper, Memento, Marvel films

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled solo across different cities in America for almost a month, meeting new people, experiencing good food, stepping out of my comfort zone and making memories that would last a lifetime!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really open to share about my home country Singapore, teach you Singlish (I mean, if you want!), and share photography tips and insights!

I'd love to learn of other people's cultures, understand their living habits, get to know more about their home cities/countries, etc. and learn to cook different dishes too!

If you are open to being a subject of my photography, I would love to create portraits with you. Am also willing to teach some photography-related stuff if it's up my alley!

Also recently learned how to cook so if anyone's interested I could whip up something - don't have too high expectations though!
