I'm very passionate about people, life, and justice. I grew up right by NYC so I've always felt a connection and a draw to many different kinds of people and situations, and my personal, academic, and professional interests follow suit. I love travel and good companionship, talking, drinking, dancing, sports, and the list goes on.

Right now my main professional efforts involve writing about policy, politics, development/humanitarianism, and history as well as editing and consulting on the same. Writing has gone well but I really want to work in humanitarian aid with refugees and match my academic background with my work. I'm very passionate about what I want to do for a living, but I make sure to make time to smell the roses and enjoy and connect with people wherever I go.

Consider me a (near?) perfect blend of silly and serious, fun and thoughtful, energetic and academic, passionate and focused.

It's not always easy to establish deeper connections starting over in a foreign land, so it'd be great to meet people around here if it seems we might hit it off, trade/share experiences, stories, perspectives, musings. It would also be cool to connect with people passing through as well.

I hate golf and math., but have at least a passing interest in most other things, especially history, international affairs, politics, public policy, reading/writing, books, movies, TV, video games, sports.
