I am 55 years old. I have a family with 5 kids. I have early-onset Alzheimer's but am in the early stage and do not yet need a caregiver. With modern technology (GPS) and phone I get around ok. I am an Ambassador for the Alzheimer's Association. I help educate and raise awareness about Alzheimer's at the State and Federal government levels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes my work for the Association requires travel, but I am living on disability and cannot easily afford common travel costs. I love people and adventure so all this together attracts me to Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently became featured in a national campaign that will have photos and video of me talking about Alzheimer's. I will be in almost all magazines, newspapers and major websites along with t.v. starting in April or May of 2017.

If I stay with you will find me very enjoyable to be around, but I will probably not be around much and therefore will not need much attention or help. I do very much enjoy meeting and getting to know people. =)
