Overview
About Me
Pretty simple guy, living the dream of traveling and working remotely. I love food, conversation, the outdoors...experiencing any of those things in any mix would be a good day for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I owned a home I opened it up to friends, friends of friends, friends-of-friends-of-friends, and loved it. I figure I'm owed just a wee bit of Karma on that point. I like meeting people and I really enjoy learning, as most people here do, about other cultures, languages and customs.

Music, Movies, and Books
Really? Although I like music, I'm not up-to-date as I used to be. I like Iggy Pop, Arcade Fire, The New Pornographers, David Bowie (RIP), the Stones, The Band, Neil young. I also like classical boroque, chamber music, the cello in particular, street musicians (I used to busk - guitar and harmonica), drums and percussion and Latin (shake it, man.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started a busking trend in a conservative area of Kyoto. Sang one of Neil Young's songs to Neil Young and his wife on the street in Vancouver. Hit a water buffalo on my motorbike and lived. Nearly got in a fight with a Chinese militiaman on Christmas Eve in Northern India. Um, I'm sure there's more I'll remember after say, one beer...
Teach, Learn, Share
Yoga, English, guitar...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Any kind of housekeeping work. I'm super tidy and don't like to be in either my own way, or anyone else's.
