Currently on a sabbatical after spending 8 years more or less working in accounting/finance/audit jobs after completing university with a finance degree.

Made the decision to quit my job and travel the world until I run out of money and have to figure out what I have to do next with life. Until then I plan to enjoy every minute of my travels.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Recently decided to quit my job and travel the world. This includes meeting new people and learning more about the local cultures I visit. Hope to gain many new friends and great experiences and look forward to hosting other couch surfers when I return home (wherever that may be) in the future.

With the added bonus that the more money I can save on accommodations the longer I can continue to travel before having to find a real job again.

I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures. I previously traveled a lot for work but now get to travel for pleasure and fully immerse myself in the culture.

I am laid back and open to trying out new hobbies/activities. Some things I love to do are scuba dive, drink scotch/rum/gin/beers, camp, hike, hang out on the beach, watch movies/tv, snowboarding, wakeboarding, play games with friends, kayaking, sports (soccer, football, baseball/softball (too old to play baseball now), volleyball, tennis, MMA (muay thai, BJJ, Luta Livre, Crossfit, kickboxing), hanging out in my hammock, spending time with family, volunteering...This could go on forever as I mentioned I enjoy doing most things especially anything outdoors.

Some things I'm interested in but have not had much experience include: climbing, skydiving, more traveling, surfing
