About Me

I grew up on the west coast of the United States in the beautiful state of Oregon, from a very young age pursuing outdoor adventures in the mountains, deserts and forests. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2007, I began traveling the world as a full time rock climber, professional slackliner, alpinist BASE jumper, commercial stuntman, linguist and nature photographer.

My passions for world travel and immersive cultural experiences have been a guide toward pursuing my wildest dreams. I love authentic connections, being in service to the planet and meditating on a daily basis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I appreciate connecting with locals everywhere I travel in this world. Sharing knowledge of the Moab desert is a passion of mine, so the Couchsurfing exchange makes sense. I live simply, honestly and modestly. I wish to understand human communities better throughout my life, to be of service to those around me, and this platform seems an efficient means for making friendships around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Fantastic Fungi, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Shawshank Redemption, American History X, Forrest Gump, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a professional stunt coordinator of the past 8 years, I’ve been hired to work on many wildly diverse job sites all over the world. A memorable work experience was organizing, and performing for, a private Cirque Du Soleil style entertainment piece for George Lucas (the creator of Star Wars) and his family in Moab, UT. It was an outdoor theatrical piece that involved Mad Max costume attire with performances of acroyoga, highlining, story telling, dance and elevated aerial silks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am excited to share my passions of speaking Spanish, being outside, rock climbing, slacklining, meditating and acroyoga with everyone interested in learning/participating. My expansive knowledge of the Moab desert is very unique and I guide journeys into the sacred canyons to explore ancient petroglyphs, silence and meditation. I enjoy authentic human connections alongside intentional conscious living. Plants fascinate me. The planet is a precious home for us all and I’m interested in learning diverse ways to exist and care for it better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I openly share my zest for life and passions for speaking Spanish, authentic relating, being outside, climbing, slacklining, meditating and acroyoga. If there are any outside labor or farming projects you need help with, please let me know, I’d love to be of service in whatever way makes sense. 🙏🏼
