About Me

Hello! I've just joined Couchsurfing.com - I'm an American who grew up in Massachusetts and lived in NYC for years. Then I moved over to London 8+ years ago to pursue a career in playwriting and I haven't left since. I write scripts, make theater and also do a lot of community work (mostly working with youth groups and also LGBTQ+ issues). In addition to my own writing, I do a lot of teaching and education work with companies in London, including many years in the National Theatre's Learning department.

I live with my partner Seán, who's a film festival programmer, at our flat in Brixton. That's also the location where we record our film podcast, Broad Appeal - it's focused on movies starring actresses we love. (Check it out: www.broadappeal.com)

We're both very busy doing cultural things around London (mostly films & theatre) and volunteering. When at home we're cooking meals, listening to a vintage Madonna track or reading aloud in bed (seriously). But we also love traveling and seeing different parts of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just joined in advance of a trip I'm going to make in August this summer - despite having grown up outside of Boston, MA I've never been to Provincetown before.
