I'm trying to think of what I can write hear that would make you believe that I'm an interesting person.
That's a bit difficult for me -- as I have a tendency to downplay what I can offer.
Let's put it this way - I'm blessed to be living in Treasure Island, FL and happy to share what I have, and really like to travel, and if I can save a few bucks while doing so -- all the better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just moved to Treasure Island in the Spring 2018, after spending most of my life in the Western PA/Eastern OH area, right on the PA/OH border. Was tired of the cold weather, so I sold my home, quit my job and moved to Treasure Island -- best decision I've ever made. I have downsized and decluttered, so I have a simple lifestyle. Stuff, is no longer important to me - but I want to be able to pick up and go where I want to go, for a couple days or a long weekend, or longer. I live in paradise and willing to share what I have with people who may want to come visit the St. Pete beach area. Also, I left my friends back in PA - so getting to know people, and making friends here in Florida is what I'm looking for at this time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been on 29 cruises, and just fulfilled an item on my bucket list and made it to Cuba in September 2018.
It came with a whole 48 hours of advance notice and planning - so it was very unexpected, but certainly an outstanding opportunity and I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to visit Havana.

I've spent my life in a variety of careers - but one thing I know very well is technology. Always happy to help people who have technology challenges. I have a wide variety of experience and expertise.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't act my age - which for most is a good thing. Most of my friends are considerably younger - and age is just a number. Most people don't guess my age, and I'm a pretty healthy and active person; which is a drastic change since I'm a diabetic. Weight loss, diet and activity have been accomplished and I'm very proud of my efforts and happy to share my lifestyle with others who may have interest.
