Hey, I'm Brian and I'm a 25 year old American guy studying in Germany for a year. I'm really fortunate because I'm only taking a few classes per week, which gives me a lot of time to travel. My goal is to explore as much of Europe as possible before I have to leave in August 2016.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've found that it isn't the places you visit which make a trip great, but rather, the people who you meet along the way! I think that Couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet like-minded people who can share local knowledge of the places I'm visiting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a motorcycle for twelve days, halfway across the United States, using paved roads as little as possible. It was exhausting and there were a few times where I thought about giving up, but in the end, I made it to my destination having visited a lot of very beautiful places and having met a lot of nice people.
