About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Work hard, make no excuses, do not look back, and most importantly live simple."

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going, fun and entertaining person to be around. I'm all about experiencing new challenges in life and living it to the fullest and simplest way possible.

PHILOSOPHY

"The worst thing I could be, is the same as everybody. I'd hate that." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Do what makes YOU happy, not what makes others happy. If you fail to do what you like doing, then you will fail to live life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couch surfing a few years back while backpacking through Western Europe and it was extremely helpful. However, I haven't used it in a few years but eager to apply it to my new travel adventures!

Interests

Outdoors enthusiast, snowboarding, paddle boarding, sustainability-related projects, traveling, CrossFit & weightlifting, baseball, beer connoisseur, as well as a whole hell of a lot of other interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Tipping Point, The 4-Hour Workweek, Collapse, The Omnivore's Dilemma, Manthropolgy, and Seven Deadly Sins are just a few books that I admire.

I'm a metal music fanatic!! However anything from rock, to reggae, to blues, punk, country, ska, hip-hop, I'm a big fan as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I competed in collegiate baseball, as well as had the opportunity to meet hundreds of amazing people from all over the world that I can now call my friends.

Recently I just completed my thesis research in which I went to Belize for two months to work with indigenous farmers throughout the Maya Mountains towards implementing sustainable agricultural practices into their farming production. By far the biggest life changing experience for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

Embrace cultural diversity because you can learn a lot from listening to another individual with different cultural beliefs.

"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." -Mahatma Gandhi

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversations, a good laugh, cultural difference, a nice pint/coffee/tea, and hopefully a surfer that they will never forget.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Belize, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, United Arab Emirates, Virgin Islands, U.S.
