Overview
About Me
I'be been living in Japan for almost 17 years, it is awesome here and life is good! I got rid of my suit and tie gig last year working as a typical Japanese salaryman and it was the best decision of my entire life. I run my own freelance businesses from my laptop and now I work from any café, library or shop that has an internet connection.
Unshackled from my desk I decided to begin my travels across the world, volunteering and depending on the hospitality of strangers to help me along in my journey.
I'm an OK cook, draw well, enjoy crossfit, play a lot of video games, enjoy quiet beers, and thanks to Google I can build or fix just about anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being you're own boss isn't easy, or cheap for that matter. I don't rake in the big bucks but I am determined to travel, so where there is a will I have found a way. When I'm not couch surfing I am volunteering via workaway or WWOOF, exchanging my skills and time for accommodation and food. This allows me to drastically reduce my cost of living, travel, and help people along the way. Couch surfing for me fills in the small gaps between volunteer opportunities as many are month long commitments.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all my music via YouTube and don't know the artists names. I follow several channels and just listen to whatever plays. Movies are different though as I watch about a movie a week. Same goes for tv shows I love my GOT and walking dead.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Things I've done!? What amazing things haven't I done! Pfft! Now that's a shorter list!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about social media marketing as that was my job for a number of years, the internet of things in regards to anything graphic related and I know a lot about Japan. I taught English for many years as well, so while I might not be able to teach you a lot... whatever I teach or pretend to teach will at least be done in a way that is fun!
