Overview
About Me
I recently quit my job to travel the world. I want to see as much as I can in the next two years. I love to cook (I went to cooking school and cooked professionally for three years), I love to eat, and I love to learn about the histories of the places I'm visiting.
Not a clubber, not a partier; I would rather watch a movie, read a book or go for a walk than do either of those things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First and foremost, the cost. Traveling for two years without a lot saved up can be an enormous financial drain, so I'm trying to keep costs down wherever I can. As I said above I don't go clubbing or partying, and I'm not big on having the latest fashions or electronics. Basically, I'm traveling to see the world, meet new & interesting people, and eat.
Interests
Food, history, pop culture, seeing new and interesting historical places, and snacking on something awesome when I do.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big on 90's hip hop/rap and rock. Also like Hawaiian music, some classic Louis Armstrong-era jazz, 60s rock, movie soundtracks, and classical. My movie tastes are simple: explosions, laughter and/or hot actresses. Or anything by Pixar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Transitioned from working in a bank to becoming a line cook. Then transitioning out of that to become an online ad trafficker.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm willing to teach people how to cook and shop for food. I'm looking to learn just about anything, and I'm going to be sharing my experiences online through various social media apps (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, YouTube, Tumblr, Snapchat).
