About Me

Fully vaccinated.

I am traveling across the United States solo by hitchhiking with only one bag. Punctuality may be difficult as I am not traveling by the most reliable means. I will be 100% okay with sleeping on the floor or even outside in a yard if I can set up my hammock (raised up or on the ground) as I am packing my own gear.

I was raised on the west side of the Big Island, Hawaii. Growing up in such a beautiful place has given me a deeply rooted appreciation for nature. I love the ocean and I like to occasionally spend time going around cleaning up beaches.

I see myself as more of an introvert, however, I would like to push myself by putting myself out there more to be able to experience human kindness from complete strangers and show others that the world/people are inherently good through documentation.

I've wanted to step away from the "traditonal 9 to 5" way of living working for someone else who doesn't care about me. Earlier this year I decided to quit my job and take a personal vacation. Although it isn't the best thing for me financially, I felt that it was necessary for me mentally and in my current state of life.

I've turned my time to livestreaming on Twitch, I use it as a creative outlet to mix all my interests together, and to meet cool people and grow a community from strangers to friends. I hope to be able to share my experiences with people through livestreaming, and it is a goal of mine to one day grow something I will be able to sustain full time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't travelled much at all and I have been dreaming for a long time of adventuring out from where I call home, to experience a change of pace and to free myself from the feelings of being "stuck" or tied down.

My goal is to to explore the United States and the world, meet amazing people who I may one day call friends, see new things, experience new cultures, taste new foods, and more. I aim to get by through a mix of the kindness of humanity and also self reliance while out in nature or on my own in general. All while broadcasting my journey live on Twitch.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many genres of music, not sure if I have a favorite.

I will most likely miss any movie/TV references that get thrown out. I haven't spent much time watching them, although I am not opposed to it in any way.

I mainly watch Twitch streams of my friends or YouTube videos of various channels or topics that I like.

I tend to read educational writing about whatever topics I am most interested in at the time. I try to always be learning something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer with the Hawai'i Wildlife Fund to help clean up plastic pollution and other marine debris from Kamilo beach, deemed one of the most plastic polluted places in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to talk about how I run a livestream out of a backpack if anyone is interested on the topic.
Having taught martial arts for years in the past, I could share some knowledge about basic form and some philosophy.

I am very open minded. I am interested to learn anything you're willing to share. It could be things about yourself, or the area you're from or your culture, etc.

Also always down to learn anything survival related, the more of that type of knowledge I can gather the better!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Kindness, some stories, laughs, assistance with a meal perhaps, or a general helping hand.
A photo to remember wouldn't hurt too now would it? :)
