Overview
About Me
I love art, photography, and traveling. I grew up in a small town and I didn't get out much, but in my mid-20s I finally learned "how" to travel and became addicted!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I was backpacking solo across Asia, I learned that the most memorable times weren't the grand temples, sprawling mountains, or picturesque beaches; the best times I've had were with the people I met along the way. Everybody has stories to tell that can both teach and inspire, and I feel like I do a better job in keeping in touch with travel friends more than any other friends I've made.
A friend recommended me to Couchsurfing as a way to both meet people and to learn more about the local areas when I go out.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like all kinds, but I typically listen to Rock of all types.
Movies: Thrillers, action, adventure, drama, mystery, horror, comedy-- I love them all!
Books: Sci Fi is my favorite. Michael Crichton is my favorite author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking solo across 5 countries in Asia was kinda cool. Or maybe the 1,000 mile (1,500 km) road trip through the Canadian Rockies.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching and learning depends on what you already know. Heck, you might know more than me in subjects I thought I'd mastered.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The only thing I have to share is my experience. Also, I've never done couchsurfing so I'm not sure what I'd really have to offer.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Canada, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
South Korea, United States
