About Me

Truthfully, I've hardly used this app to be hosted but have often found myself being hosted by the locals I meet while traveling. In many occasions they’ve turned into lifelong friends. True surfers know what I mean! It’s taught me to always be humble and pay it forward and never have expectations from being kind. Life runs in cycles and what you give will come back in other ways. It’s a beautiful thing!

I’m originally from LA and one of three sons of Central American migrants who came to the US many decades ago. (Illegally, I am proud to say!) So we can talk Spanish or I can show you more about our culture!
I’m also a visual artist and dedicate my time outside of my day job to going to new places or revisiting the good ones. I love to cook, especially when I’m cooking for others! I moved to Seattle in late 2019. I’m still making friends out here and hoping to eventually host some art shows out here!

If I’m hosting, I’m always down for food, the outdoors or a good bar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In short, I just want to meet good people and make friends with people who are like minded travelers and on a journey! I’d like to meet creatives, trekkers, and citizens of the planet. I always heard about couchsurfing through other travelers and people while in South America. The first time I was hosted wasn’t even through this app!! Since then, I’ve hosted a few people and have had some great times,

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing culture or learning about others cultures is very important to me so we can talk music , food , history, philosophy etc. Also one of my biggest hobbies is photography, so feel free to ask questions or we can go out and take photos. I want to practice Italian! And always Spanish!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Would be cool to hang out with people who know the area. Even if you don’t, let’s go explore. I can share all my travel tips if you are going to California/Washington or South America, Nepal and Europe. I will also share my Yerba Mate with you! I’ll even help around the house or cook you dinner if we’re hanging for a few days or more. I’m a hard worker at heart and don’t say no to fun either.
