About Me

CURRENT MISSION

TO LIVE AND DIE TRAVELING. (I haven't had many opportunities for travel lately, and that's simply unacceptable to me, so I am working to change that!)

ABOUT ME

I'm turning 40 this year and still trying to figure out what I want to be "when I grow up." I recently completed two degrees at UC Berkeley, and I'm looking into grad school opportunities. In the mean time, I'm traveling to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

But enough about me; let's talk about *you*... So what do *you* want to eat for lunch?

PHILOSOPHY

My current philosophy is simply to rock the beach lifestyle no matter where I am living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking forward to surfing and hosting and meeting lots of cool new people (and maybe exploring other ways of getting involved, too..).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was already "couchsurfing" around the San Francisco Bay Area the year this online community was born. I CouchSurfing.org'ed around Seattle and Portand a few summers ago, and had great experiences! We've also hosted many couchsurfers at various households I've been a part of.

Interests

Other than traveling and meeting new people, my passions include: cooking (and eating too!), entertaining new or old friends, experiencing nature and wildlife, and being in or on the ocean.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, I enjoy movies and music and books:
- Right now I am listening to Morcheeba's "Big Calm". Oh, the track just switched. Now its Radiohead with "Karma Police!".
- Last night I watched "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" (for the fiftieth time!).
- And my current read is a book called "Salt: A World History", but I am looking ahead with anticipation to the next book on my list: "Alaska by Cruise Ship"!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am easily amazed, but the time that a wild dolphin decided to include me in his playtime definitely ranks among my most awesome experiences!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, United Kingdom
