Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am an open-minded seeker of knowledge, philosophy, and the arts. I have an interest in all things on this planet and off. I write and I plan to create both fiction and non-fiction novels.
ABOUT ME
I talk too much and like to crack a joke or two. My day is not complete until I make someone laugh. I live with my wife (60) and my grandson (13) and our cat Shadow (1). Tok is a small community; the entering and leaving signs are on the same post. The area is thickly forested with small spruce adjacent to the Tanana River north of the majestic Alaskan Range.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a non-religious seeker of light with respect to all beliefs and non-beliefs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have an unfinished stick frame 12 x 16 feet cabin(once upon a time it was a greenhouse) with one bed, but we have extra foam pads, The cabin is heated with a wood stove and has a fridge.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I picked up two Couch Surfers hitchhiking at -18 and put them up in our guest cabin. I had been meaning to sign up with CS, but never got around to it until they arrived and helped me register. Nice guys from Calgary, Canada and Capetown, South Africa.
Interests
I am a bush pilot. I love literature and I am an avid reader as well as a writer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes to all.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was awestruck gazing upon the Grand Canyon.
I was a bit shook up when turbulence flipped me upside down in a Cessna.
I was thrilled when I dropped a charging moose with my pistol.
I miss my wolf: he started his own pack.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach anything that one wants of anything that I know. Love to learn all that there is and share what I can.
