About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet like-minded travellers
ABOUT ME
I love traveling and meeting people from all walks of life and from all corners of the globe.
My friends describe me as polite, caring, friendly, generous and deeply spiritual.
I hope to be able to share my experiences with like-minded people from around the world!
PHILOSOPHY
It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters in the end. -Ursula K. LeGuin
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy learning and teaching languages.
Interests
I have been a practicing amateur herbalist for several years now. Living and growing up in Malaysia has exposed me to traditional Chinese medicine, Indian Ayurvedic medicine and Indonesian Jamu. I was trained to be a scientist and to be mathematical and business-minded but I no longer want this to define me as a person. I am fascinated by traditional holistic and alternative treaments for diseases of the body and the mind.
I would be most happy to share my knowledge and experiences in various healing practices. I regularly practice Reiki and Vipassana meditation.
I also enjoy cooking, trying different types of food, good wine and the occasional night out for some Latin dancing.
And I enjoy mountain climbing, jungle trekking and camping in the wilderness ... sometimes the further you travel, the closer you feel to your place of birth.
