ABOUT ME
Hello!
I like to have fun and like to cultivate a broad understanding of the many different ways to get there (see interests)
One of my interests/enjoyments in life is getting along with and finding common ground with most people that I meet. I am energized by these encounters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few years ago I lived in a small cabin near Glacier park (in Montana). I was sharing this tiny little space, without electricity, with my girlfriend Laura. The cabin was located right up against the Swan Mountain range. One weekend, we packed our backpacks and hiked from the cabin, up and over the Swan range to some great alpine lakes on the other side. As we started to set up our tent, the weather got pretty bad and rain started whipping down on us. At the exact moment that I was climbing into the tent, there was a huge flash of light, like everything in my visual field was white. The shock from this hadn't even worn off when the loudest crack I've ever heard pummeled my ears. I looked at Laura, who was pointing across the tiny lake that we were camping near...at a large fir that was fully on fire! Lightning had struck less than a quarter mile away from our tent! The next day we explored the strike area and found that this giant tree had pretty much exploded on impact, parts were strewn everywhere.
