ABOUT ME

I'm interested in music, eating and cooking good food, good beer, the outdoors on sunny days, and a few other things too. I like to travel, but I find what I like about it most of all is getting the chance to settle in and get to know a place for a few weeks or months at a time. So I guess you could say it's not so much seeing new places that I enjoy as it is being a part of them, so languages are up on my list of interests too. Improving the health of human people is what I've picked as my thing to do in life, and I hope to figure out a way to integrate that with my other interests in a way that makes good things happen for all involved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been inspired by some really incredible couch-surfing friends over the past few years, and I'm always interesting in meeting cool people and paying it forward. For the past year or so I haven't been able to host due to my living situation, but now I'm in a better apartment and have a little more time for the next couple months.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most difficult thing I've ever done was ride in the very back seat of a school bus for 32 hours from La Paz to Rurrenabaque while taking diuretics for altitude sickness. Fate was on my side when it saw fit to make the bus break down 3 times and give me a chance to pee. Hope to top that one day.
