Overview
About Me
I was born in San Francisco, California, but have moved all around the country and western hemisphere since I was young. I recently graduated college with a degree in Latin American Politics, I hope to study international relations and go into diplomatic work as a career. I am multi-lingual, I love to dance and travel and learn about other countries and cultures, and hang out with friends. I have danced in the carnival in Rio de Janeiro and Oruro Bolivia, and dance many dance styles from all over the world. I get along with almost everyone as I am a very open-minded person, and am very friendly. I try to treat people with as much respect as possible, and hope the same in return. I am well-grounded, stable and have traveled to many countries in Latin America and 26/50 states in the US. When I travel, I like to do touristy things, but more so I like to get the real experience of locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotels are expensive and couch-surfing is a great way to get an authentic experience and have a better time in the country. I love to make friends and create lasting relationships, and this is the great opportunity to do so and make lasting memories.
Interests
I love to dance, mainly Latin American dances (South American and Caribbean), African dances (West and East African) and Bollywood. I also like to sing although I'm not as good at it. I play the guitar and Piano and love many types of music. I also love to travel and spend time with friends and family.

Music, Movies, and Books
My current favorite music (because I go through phases where I listen to so many different types) is Brazilian sertanejo, Bolivian and Peruvian folklore, Pablo Alboran, Carminho and Afrobeat. I also like Caribbean and Middle Eastern music, in addition to other kinds. My favorite movies are Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno), Fanaa and I like horror movies, comedies and more. I don't like to read that much, but I like books based off of historical events.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked in the World Cup in Brazil and danced in the Brazilian and Bolivian carnivals. (sorry I couldn't limit it to one).
Teach, Learn, Share
Among the 4 jobs I have, one is teaching English to Brazilian Students. I also love to learn from the students and gain a better insight of the lives of youths in Brazil and other places. I love to share my story and experiences to help others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Amazing stories, good food and music, laughs and a great memory from hosting me. And of course if you ever come to California or Washington D.C, you're welcome to stay with me. I also have good networks and contacts depending on the needs. I can also bring gifts from other countries if given prior notice! :) And this list isn't all-inclusive, I have a lot to offer as a person and friend.
