About Me

ABOUT ME

If you ask some friend of mine what makes me ''me'', I think they would say I'm a creative person who is obsessed by social issues. Someone who wants to inspire people with art about how things could be better in our world. Furthermore I guess they would say you can have a great time with me. For hilarious evenings on a couch or for a special picknick in the moonlight along the riverside. Sometimes people tell me that they were inspired by a conversation with me, a conversation which made them look at the world with another perspective. For me one of the most valuable complements I've ever received.

Interests

Talking with people about things in life and the differences between al kinds of people. Conversations that inspire me to make a documentary or theatre play. Furthermore; traveling, cooking, go to a party sometimes, visiting a theatre/music hall/cinema/museum, spending time with friends, walking through te woods and reading books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I travelled on my own to the country of Myanmar. Before I went there I was already fascinated by the country's political history, and Myanmars huge diversity of ethic cultures. Once I was there I've met many (local) filmmakers, activists and NGO-workers that were able to share an unique perspective on the country with me. Myanmar is full of complexities, that makes it really impossible to 'get to know' the country with a 28-day tourist visa.

Although I've only seen only the tip of the icerberg, the country doesn't let go of me. I'm really looking forward to go back to the country for a longer period of time.
