Hi, My name is Briana! I grew up in Guam, went to school in Washington state, served in AmeriCorps for a year in Vermont, went to grad school in Florida, and now I am living it up in Long Beach, California. I have been out here for a year now and so far so good.

i have traveled to a few places in between: Japan, New Zealand, and Tanzania. I still have plans to travel all of the U.S.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never stayed in one place for so long in what feels like a really long time. I find myself trying to escape constantly.

I want to road trip around the U.S. eventually, and of course travel the world. There is the possibility that I will be doing many of these adventures on my own and on a tight budget (wow, I wrote this like 2 years ago, and I DID THIS!).

I love cliches and doing touristy stuff, but I also love getting a taste of being a local. I figured that couchsurfing would be a great way to do all the above.
