Overview
About Me
I'm an organic farmer and writer by trade, as well as a hiker, cyclist, cook, and reader.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the experiences that come with traveling, especially conversations and exchanges with people who call a place home. After relying on the kindness of CS hosts, I'm hoping to serve as a host myself, and continue to meet new people!
Interests
All things food - especially farming, baking, and fermentation. Sketching and painting. Cycling, backpacking, climbing (and most other physical activities).

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most music but some current favorites include: Gregory Alan Isakov, Valerie June, Tribe Called Quest, Leon Bridges, Trampled by Turtles
Books: Watership Down, East of Eden, Evicted, Last Child in the Woods
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I biked across the US, meeting many kind and interesting locals along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach cooking/baking/preserving skills as well as vegetable farming/gardening. I'm also quite enthusiastic about wild plants.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love nothing more than a good conversation - especially ones about education, the environment, dreams, and what is "good." I would be more than happy to cook a meal to share if the host is interested and I have access to a kitchen.
