I really am always trying to constantly better myself as a human being and learn and appreciate every experience that comes my way. I believe that knowledge is power and I want to use the education I learn in school and life to benefit myself and others. My dad and mom always encouraged the idea of traveling the world at a young age-I have been to 6 of the 7 continents either climbing or doing sustainable service work in impoverished countries. I am a very outdoorsy person, I am really into high altitude mountaineering, technical climbing, cycling, surfing, and camping, I also love having a good time and going out with friends and of course spontaneous little adventures! I get along with most everyone and always open to meeting cool, new people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To simply put it, I treat other's the way I want to be treated! I think the whole concept of Couchsurfing is really neat, getting to meet people all over the States, let alone the world, is super cool! Some of my closest friends whom I've met where when I was traveling or vice versa

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

+High altitude mountaineer+Been bitten by a lion (true story!)+Scuba dived to 150 feet in Bali+Been through all of the Sierra Mountains+Went surfing off the Channel Islands and saw a great white shark!+Sat near Nelson Mandela at the World Cup in Johannesburg!+Flown on a plane back from Canada with Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter+Played in a piano recital with a hundred other people and won+Danced on stage with Rob Thomas (even got a kiss on the cheek from him!)+Meditated in a sacred temple in Bali+Sky dived during a beautiful sunset+Won top 5 national championship in horse riding in New Mexico+Lived with Mossai worriers in Tanzania and went hunting with them+Got an orange stolen from my hands from a calabas monkey!+Surfed Pipe Line in Hawaii (ok the waves were only 3 feet, but still!)+Got a full ride scholarship for a medical internship in Washington D.C.
